Servant/Volunteer Opportunities

New Ministry Coordinator Needed

We were recently blessed with the donation of a CD recorder for the purpose of recording worship services for shut-ins.  Redeemer is currently in need of a person to coordinate this ministry and a few volunteers to be trained in the process.  Please prayerfully consider serving in one of these roles.  Training will be provided.  Please see Tim Graf or Steve Swanlund if you are interested in finding out more or to volunteer.    Thank You!

REDEEMER CHURCH & SCHOOL FAMILY SKI DAY AT BUCK HILL – SUNDAY, FEB. 5!

Dan Burfeind and Todd & Jana Nelson are hosting a day of skiing and fellowship at Buck Hill.  A private chalet has been reserved for us to gather, share food, and of course ski or snowboard.  However, if you (parents) do not wish to ski, please join us in the chalet any way!  You will have a good view of your kids out on the hill!  And by the way, Buck Hill has been making lots of snow so the ski area is 100% open.
Here are the details:
Buck Hill is open all day so people can come and go as it fits their schedule.  (The Superbowl is on the same day at 5:30 p.m.)  We (Dan, Todd, and Jana) will be there around 10:30 a.m.  Everyone can bring lunch food and snackies to share in the chalet.  There are outlets available for crock pots.

Our monthly meeting will be Tuesday January 24 at 7:00 pm. 

Redeemer Midweek

These Wednesday evening gatherings will be "Seeker" oriented.  That means everything we do, including the worship service itself, will concentrate on welcoming people from the school and the community who either don't attend Sunday morning worship or who don't have a church home.  This will be a great opportunity for us as Redeemerites, who are secure in our faith, to reach out to, mingle with, and support families and individuals who are seeking God's Grace in their lives.  It will be a great witness for all of us and a great occasion to share Jesus Christ.  So be bold and join us.  Watch future bulletins and newsletters for more information.

Sunday morning Christian Education is held each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m.  Tell one, tell all and bring a friend.

Women’s Spring Retreat

March 9-11 in Alexandria, MN.  Our annual women’s retreat will welcome back Barbara Landsdorf who has continually brought us transforming, Christ centered messages.  Julie Thour will lead us in worship as we share a sweet weekend away being renewed in our faith.  Questions call or email Nancy Engel 952-473-1072 or motherengel@aol.com

Saturday Men’s Redeemer Bible Study

Saturday Men’s Redeemer Bible Study will start on Saturday, Sept. 24.  This year’s study is Discipleship Essentials—a 25-week study which will grow our spiritual maturity, help equip us to be disciples, and make us familiar with a tool we can use to disciple others.  Study guides will be available by Sunday, Sept. 18, in the Church Office   The study is from 7-8:30 am in the Multi-purpose Room.  If you have questions or to confirm your attendance to help determine the books ($11 each) needed please contact Gordy Engel fourwayz1@aol.com, 952-473-1072 or Rich Gotz

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

Starting on Wednesday, February 8th, the Wednesday morning Women's Bible Study will start a new book, and you are invited to join us.
We're going to look at 12 Biblical women who made a difference in the lives of the people around them, and sometimes in the life of an entire nation. We'll find that some things about each woman apply to us today, and ways we can make a difference in our world today.

Thursday Morning

LifeLight

LifeLight begins a new Bible Study of two books of the Bible, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon, on Sunday evenings beginning January 8 from 6:30-8 pm in the Multli Purpose room OR on Thursday mornings beginning January 12 from 9:30-11:45 am in the small conference room beneath the Sanctuary.
