Early Service (Traditional) 8:30 a.m.
Bible Study & Sunday School 9:30 a.m.
Late Service (Contemporary) 10:30 a.m.
Redeemer Midweek
These Wednesday evening gatherings will be "Seeker" oriented. That means everything we do, including the worship service itself, will concentrate on welcoming people from the school and the community who either don't attend Sunday morning worship or who don't have a church home. This will be a great opportunity for us as Redeemerites, who are secure in our faith, to reach out to, mingle with, and support families and individuals who are seeking God's Grace in their lives. It will be a great witness for all of us and a great occasion to share Jesus Christ. So be bold and join us. Watch future bulletins and newsletters for more information.
School
2011-12 Enrollment
Continues
Redeemer Lutheran School seeks to provide students with teachings for a lifetime that help them grow in faith, knowledge, character, and responsibility. We're happy to talk to anyone who is seeking a Christian faith-based, academically strong, and well-rounded education for their Preschool through Grade 8 child. Please contact the school office (952/473-5356) for an appointment to discuss how your child or someone you know can become part of our family.

REDEEMER CHURCH & SCHOOL FAMILY SKI DAY AT BUCK HILL – SUNDAY, FEB. 5!
Dan Burfeind and Todd & Jana Nelson are hosting a day of skiing and fellowship at Buck Hill. A private chalet has been reserved for us to gather, share food, and of course ski or snowboard. However, if you (parents) do not wish to ski, please join us in the chalet any way! You will have a good view of your kids out on the hill! And by the way, Buck Hill has been making lots of snow so the ski area is 100% open.
Here are the details:
Buck Hill is open all day so people can come and go as it fits their schedule. (The Superbowl is on the same day at 5:30 p.m.) We (Dan, Todd, and Jana) will be there around 10:30 a.m. Everyone can bring lunch food and snackies to share in the chalet. There are outlets available for crock pots.
Sonshine Singers Spectacular Coming Soon!!

If you enjoy music, laughing, and praising God, don’t miss this spectacular show. The performance will be followed with a home-cooked spaghetti supper. What a fun time it will be! Watch for more details coming soon!

The Redeemer Spelling Bee is Coming!
Top spellers from grades 1-8 will participate in our Redeemer School Spelling Bee on Wednesday, February 8th, at 9:30 a.m. (after chapel), in the church sanctuary. Parents and other friends are invited to attend as spectators. Please join us for coffee and fellowship in the auditorium until 8:45 a.m. Then we will head up to participate in chapel led by our sixth grade class. Kindergarten parents may want to come to see how the Spelling Bee is run for reference for next year.
There will be first, second, and third place ribbons for the winners in each grade. One of the life lessons we teach at Redeemer is how to win and lose graciously. As in most competitions, there can only be one winner. Help us encourage one another in love.
The first place winner in each grade will be eligible to attend the annual Spelling Contest for Lutheran Elementary Schools which will be held at Mayer Lutheran High School on Saturday, April 14. Should the first place winner not be able to attend, the second place winner will be eligible to attend in their place. Should the first and second place winners not be able to attend, the third place winner will be eligible to attend in their place.
| YOU ARE OUR BEST “PR”!
As a private Christian school, Redeemer is continually seeking ways to communicate to the community who we are and what we are about. Ads in newspapers and magazines, radio spots, and posting information on a website are a few of the methods that are used for “public relations” or “PR”.
But as effective as these methods of communication may be, most prospective families find out about Redeemer through our school parents. You are our best “PR”! As “satisfied customers” of Redeemer Lutheran School, your words have a powerful influence on families who may be considering a private, Christian education for their children.
On Thursday, February 2, Redeemer Lutheran School will be having an “Open House” for prospective families. The times are from 6 to 8 p.m. Families will be able to tour our facility, meet with teachers, and ask questions about our program. Your words of invitation and encouragement can help to make this event a success. Please take advantage of this opportunity to invite relatives, friends, and neighbors to attend our “open house”. In addition, for those who are unable to attend that evening, we consider every day to be open house at Redeemer. All families need to do is call in order to arrange a time for a tour, to pick up information, and meet with our Principal – Mr. Boeder.
Remember – your “PR” is very important as we invite others to join the Redeemer Family!
