Deanna, her husband Ron, and daughter Emily, live in New Hope and have been members of Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1988. She has been involved in many volunteer positions with Redeemer Lutheran School over the years since her daughter started preschool here in 1997 and has always loved interacting with the children.
When the ESC position became available during the fall of 2005, she thought it would be a great opportunity to user her elementary education degree and her creativity to make ESC a place that children would love to come to. She feels that children need a comfortable and somewhat unstructured place to be after sitting in school all day. Children have the choice of doing crafts, building with many construction sets, or playing with toys or games. Time for homework is given every day, as well as activity time outside and/or in the gym. Mrs. Soeldner is very excited about the new room for ESC! It is bright, cheerful, and filled with all kinds of interesting and fun things to do for all ages.
Besides being involved with the school, her hobbies are scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time at home.
