Mrs. Esterberg
Preschool
Marit Esterberg lives in Independence with her husband and two children. She was born in Norway and moved to the Minneapolis area when she was 11.
Marit attended college in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and received her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, biking, tennis and cross-stitching.
Redeemer's greatest asset, according to Marit, is the "family like" atmosphere of Redeemer. She has loved this atmosphere since she first walked in the door six years ago. Both her children attend/have attended school at Redeemer and she has enjoyed working as the LAP coordinator for the last 2 years, and working in the preschool room at Redeemer Lutheran School for 3 years before that. I am very excited to work with the youngest students, they have always been my passion.

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "move from here to there" and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
Matthew 17:20

Mrs. Marti
Kindergarten
Dianne Marti was raised on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin until she was five years old, when her father decided to sell the farm and go into the ministry. After that she lived in Springfield, Illinois, and in different towns in Iowa before attending and graduating from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska.
Over the years, Dianne has taught at Lynch Immanuel Lutheran School in Glenburn, North Dakota, St. Martin’s Lutheran School in Winona, Minnesota, St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Edina and Redeemer Lutheran School in Wayzata. Through her years of teaching, she has worked with ages Preschool through grade 9. She has written, produced, and directed many children’s programs and choirs. One of her greatest joys is playing the guitar and singing.
She and her husband Morgan currently live in Loretto, MN, and have raised four children – Ben, Brandy, Bridgette, and Brittany. Dianne loves gardening, playing tennis, biking, cooking, and working with the children in her classroom and their families.
She knows that each new day, the Lord gives her a new challenge and also promises to give her the faith and endurance to complete that challenge.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
